Privacy Policy

FotoSuite is built so we never see your photos. This policy explains exactly what the app does with your data, and what it doesn't.

Effective 7 November 2026 · Applies to FotoSuite for iOS and Android

The short version

  • Your images are opened, edited and saved on your device. FotoSuite never uploads them.
  • There is no account, no login and no FotoSuite server.
  • We don't collect personal data, and we don't sell or share it, because we don't have it.
  • The app goes online only for the specific features listed below, and never sends your images when it does.

1. Your images

Every tool in FotoSuite, including the AI tools (Remove Background, Upscale, Blur Face, Magic Eraser, ID & Passport Photo, Document Scanner and Copy Text), runs entirely on your device using its processor and the operating system's built-in frameworks (such as Apple Vision and Core ML on iOS, and Google ML Kit and TensorFlow Lite on Android).

Your images, the text recognised in them, detected faces and any metadata they contain are never transmitted to us or to any third party by FotoSuite. We have no technical means to see them.

2. What we collect

FotoSuite does not collect personal data. Specifically, the app does not include:

  • accounts, sign-up forms or login;
  • analytics or tracking SDKs;
  • advertising SDKs or advertising identifiers;
  • a FotoSuite backend that receives data of any kind.

If you have opted in to share diagnostics with Apple or Google at the system level, those companies may provide us with anonymous, aggregated crash reports and usage statistics (for example, how many devices crashed on a given app version). These reports do not include your images and do not identify you. They are governed by Apple's and Google's privacy policies, and you control them in your device settings.

3. What is stored on your device

To make the app work, FotoSuite keeps some data locally, inside the app's private storage on your phone:

DataWhyHow to remove it
HistoryRecent results, so you can save or share them againDelete items in History, or delete the app
Temporary filesIntermediate images while a tool is workingCleared automatically
Settings & presetsOutput format, quality, watermark presets, recipes, pinned toolsDelete the app
AI modelsDownloaded models used by the AI toolsSettings › AI models

Images you save go to your Photos library or a folder you choose, where they're handled by your operating system like any other photo.

Your device's own backup (iCloud Backup, or Android backup) may include the app's settings and presets, according to your device settings. That backup is between you and Apple or Google.

4. When the app goes online

FotoSuite works offline. It uses the internet only when you use one of the features below. None of these requests include your images.

FeatureWhat happensWho receives the request
AI model downloadThe first time you use some AI tools, the model is downloaded through the app store's asset deliveryApple (On-Demand Resources) or Google (Play Asset Delivery)
Stock backgroundsWhen you browse stock photos in Remove Background, thumbnails and the photo you pick are downloaded. As the photo provider's terms require, the app tells the provider which photo was downloadedUnsplash or Pexels

Meme templates & fontsUp-to-date meme templates and extra fonts are downloaded when you browse themImgflip and Google Fonts
PurchasesBuying, restoring or checking ProApple App Store or Google Play

Like any internet request, these reveal your device's IP address and basic technical information (such as the app version) to the service you connect to. Each service handles that information under its own privacy policy: Apple, Google, Unsplash, Pexels and Imgflip.

5. Purchases

FotoSuite Pro is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Payment details, your store account and billing history are handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never receive them. The app checks your entitlement on the device using the store's own verification, without a FotoSuite server.

6. Permissions

FotoSuite asks only for the permissions a feature needs, at the moment you use it. You can change them anytime in your device settings.

  • Photos / media: to open the images you pick and save results. On recent iOS and Android versions you can share only selected photos.
  • Camera: for Document Scanner and taking a photo inside the app.
  • Network: for the features listed in section 4.

7. Children

FotoSuite is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app doesn't collect personal data, it doesn't knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA or Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP) give you rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. FotoSuite doesn't hold any personal data about you on its side, so there is nothing for us to export or erase. You stay in control of everything the app stores:

  • delete individual results in History;
  • remove downloaded AI models in Settings;
  • delete the app to erase all of its local data.

For data held by Apple, Google or the services in section 4, contact them directly. If you have a question about your rights, email us and we'll help.

9. Security

Keeping images on your device is the strongest protection we can offer: there's no FotoSuite server that could be breached. Local data lives in the app's sandbox, protected by your operating system's security. Network requests use HTTPS.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how FotoSuite handles data, we'll update this page and the effective date above. If a change is significant (for example, adding a feature that sends data off your device), we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
